AgTech Hackathon Manawatu kicks off! Hosted at The Factory, attendants will learn about the day, form teams and tackle the issues of the day. Teams will work together in a "pressure-cooker" situation to validate their ideas and form the foundations of a business and business model. Coders will be on the other side of the table, crafting their magic. SOLD OUT.
Day two of the AgTech Hackathon Manawatu will see teams working on prototypes while engaging with mentors, farmers and industry experts. Kicking off early and ending late, day two promises a lot of surprises as well as lots of caffeine! SOLD OUT.
The official launch of AgTech Hackathon: Manawatu will be held at on farm at Stewart Dairylands. The event will bring together all Hackathon partners and will be launched by Minister Nathan Guy. All teams will provide one representative to give an initial 60 second pitch of their business model.
14 & 16 March
These two nights allow teams to practice their pitch and refine their business model while finalising any last minute product enhancements. These two nights are crucial to get the teams ready for pitch day, the 17th of March.
Dragon's Den time! Teams will pitch their final ideas/products to a team of judges to close out Central Districts Field Days. Support the teams from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at CD Field Days in the ASB Innovation Zone.
